 Mid-Autumn in Japan

picture for hover box 1.jpg

There is a very popular saying in Japan. "If you can't see the moon on the night of the 15th of August, there is still the night on the 13th of September (according to the lunar calendar)." Since there are two days to appreciate the moon, there will sure be a time where the bright moon is visible on a cloudless night. The 13th of September of the  lunar calendar is the other half of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Japan.
